1) Do not tick the boxes

Do not tick the boxes below, if you create a Universal Jobmatch account.
Creating a profile and uploading a CV can be made mandatory via a Jobseeker’s Direction.

□ I authorise DWP to view my account, including job search activity, feedback and notes
□ I would like to receive DWP email messages

2) How to stop all DWP emails

Visit your ‘Profile‘ page and ensure the “I would like to receive DWP email messages” is unticked* and then go to ‘Home page‘ > ‘Saved searches’ > ‘Edit’  and select “None“.

If you do not wish to accept web tracking cookies on any internet access device (IAD) you use, DWP guidance (requested 15 October 2013) says they can make it mandatory, via a Jobseeker’s Direction, to use an IAD at a jobcentre
